There are lots of reasons why people may need to transfer care during pregnancy. Maybe you have recently moved to the area and need continuation of your prenatal care, or you are looking for a different experience from the one you are having with your current provider. We are happy to accept patients transferring from other practices as space allows. Please call our office to inquire about availability.

Have you been seeing a midwife for your prenatal care and now you have developed complications that require care from a doctor? Perhaps you just discovered that your baby is breech and you need an external cephalic version or a cesarean birth? Or you are past your due date and need an induction? We love to collaborate with the licensed midwives in our community! 

We will also accept intrapartum transfers of care. If you are receiving prenatal care with a licensed midwife with the intention of delivering outside of the hospital and need to transfer to the hospital during labor, your midwife can call to request transfer of care and if we are available we will meet you at the hospital.
